Add second disk. Call yast - System - Bootloader. Second hard disk is not offered in device list for custom bootloader location. As far as I can tell this happens because getPartitionList(boot, "grub") checks whether device exists in device.map and after installation device.map contains single hard disk. It is not updated when second hard disk is added. There does not appear to be any way to add new hard disks to device map using either yast or pbl. Note that for grub2 no device.map is really needed at all, but unfortunately when device.map is removed, yast offers single option - custom device, even though it is actually refers to boot partition.
