Fehlermeldung des Verwaltungsprogramms: Interner Fehler (ohne weitere Meldung). I could resolve the problem by deleting and recreating the laserprinter. The same problem still exists for my Color Printer. Since the recreation of the laserprinter the error has not occured any more for this printer. Do you use any kind of third party driver (e.g. a driver from Brother)? Does the setup work with YaST? Which exact model is your "Color Printer"? Provide exact step by step info what exactly you did. We don't have such a printer. Reconfiguring the color printer with Yast has worked without any appearant error. previously YaST has shown the following: none / Farbdrucker Verbunden als lpd://10.0.0.10/D-LINK-LPT2 Mit SpoolFarbdrucker after reconfiguring YaST printmgr shows: HP DeskJet 720C / Farbdrucker Verbunden als lpd://10.0.0.10/D-LINK-LPT2 Mit SpoolFarbdrucker If I start the YaST printer configuration after successfully setting the driver for my colorprinter there is again no driver specified!!!! when restarting YaST printmgr: none / Farbdrucker Verbunden als lpd://10.0.0.10/D-LINK-LPT2 Mit SpoolFarbdrucker -> It is just the way as if I would not have done anything!!! I can send you the corrupted configuration files causing this oddities if you tell me which files you need. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please provide the YaST log file as follows: 1. Have a clean state to start: Remove all your print queues in YaST and finish YaST. Remove YaST's printer files: rm /var/lib/YaST2/printers rm /var/lib/YaST2/ppd_db.ycp 2. Move the old YaST log file away: mv /var/log/YaST2/y2log /var/log/YaST2/y2log.old 3. Start YaST and do again what you described above. If the problem happens again, finish YaST and save the log file: cp -p /var/log/YaST2/y2log /var/log/YaST2/y2log.save 4.
