Hi,
the current release pf plymouth in TW is still quite old. I've updated plymouth to the latest upstream release 24.004.60. If anyone wants to test, the repo is at
https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:tdz:branches:Base:System/ plymouth
https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/tdz:/branches:/Base:/System... openSUSE_Tumbleweed/home:tdz:branches:Base:System.repo
In my humble opinion: In this update, plymouth dropped the framebuffer forbidden patch. But when the kernel doesn't disable the CONFIG_FB. and user still uses it, the boot progress will have fault. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
