http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1202074 Bug ID: 1202074 Summary: after installing fetchmsttfonts the operation system fonts change automatically, also firefox fonts change automatically(effect badelly on facebook arabic posts)f Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 15.4 Hardware: Other OS: openSUSE Leap 15.4 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other Assignee: screening-team-bugs@suse.de Reporter: adelabd22@gmail.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- 1- install openSUSE Leap 15.4 using USB Flash Drives. 2- choose Desktop with gnome. 3- after installation, open yast -> software management -> view -> patterns -> cinnamon desktop environment (accept to install cinnamon). 4- logout -> change environment from gnome to cinnamon and log in. 5- add pack man repository, using yast control center. 6- add nvidia repository (drivers), using yast control center. 7- add arabic layouts to the system, using cinnamon system settings. 8- open firefox, log in to face book every thing is good(arabic posts font is good and i can see it easily). 9- run "sudo zypper ref", "sudo zypper lu", "sudo zypper up". 10- restart the system. 11- reopen firefox, log in to face book every thing is good(arabic posts font is good and i can see it easily). 12- open yast center -> software management -> search for "fetchmsttfonts" and install it. 13- operation system fonts (default, desktop, document, monospace, windows title) fonts automatically change (can see that by open "font selection" before install the package and after install it to see the change). 14- open firefox then login to facebook find all arabic posts font are small and hard to read and in same time the font shape is change to some uncomfortable font. 15- also in firefox setting under language and appearance there's fonts and colors, if open it before and after installing "fetchmsttfonts" will find the fonts are automatically change after install the "fetchmsttfonts". 16- the only way to fix this problem in facebook is go to firefox setting -> language and appearance -> fonts and colors -> advanced -> set minimum font size and in same time (uncheck allow pages to choose their own fonts instead of your selections above). 17- point number 16 fix the Facebook Arabic posts size but effect bad on other website as (uncheck allow pages to choose their own fonts instead of your selections above) damage any formate of other websites so i can not use this method. 18- install Chromium find it also like firefox. 19- remove "fetchmsttfonts", every thing back normal and good after logout and log in again. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
