Suspend to disk worked with 12.1. With 12.2 the display is turned off and the hard disk accessed every second forever. I ran pm-hibernate and attache the logs. Setting splash=n in /etc/suspend.conf makes the hibernation work. In my case (HP mini 5102), hibernation works, but it is too slow and the screen is black while the image is written to disk.
I have the same problem. After upgrading from 12.2 to 12.3, the problem occurred, if you run the hibernation, but still gives the dark and white screen.
