[Bug 1201996] MicroOS Desktop: Virtualbox guest extentions not working

It is installed, but GNOME uses Wayland.....
Wayland has been a problem. See boo#1194126 for my previous battles with it. The only workaround I found was to start X11, then log out and back into Wayland. That was with KDE and probably fails with Gnome. I have installed MicroOS Gnome Desktop on my Tumbleweed host, and I have duplicated your problems. This is a duplicate of boo#1194126. I used transactional-update to install virtualbox-guest-x11 to get VBoxClient installed and tried "/usr/bin/VBoxClient --clipboard", but it failed here as it did in 1194126. I am going to mark this bug as a duplicate. I should have some time to try to fix this. If VBoxClient could handle it, then I could move it to a different guest package, but at the moment, there is no reason. In the other bug, Andrei Borzenkov talks about a "user" service, but I am not clear how to implement it in VirtualBox. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 1194126 *** -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
