Testing with recent apps on 11.1. IIRC session management worked in the past for Gnome, KDE, WindowMaker ... (we had a patch to make it work correctly, which is obsoleted now by another approach). Now I cannot get it to work correctly in WindowMaker or Gnome (and as reported KDE) while it should work. http://mxr.mozilla.org/mozilla1.9.1/source/toolkit/xre/nsNativeAppSupportUni... is the code in Gecko 1.9.1 to support that. Firefox is restarting correctly in WindowMaker but the restart command is not set as expected (still works though). Thunderbird breaks as it tries to start thunderbird-bin which is not in the path and wouldn't work anyway. In Gnome I don't get it to work at all for both (I've enabled session saving). So - is there some Gnome guy who can explain the xsmp support in Gnome to me? - where does Gnome/metacity save the session information? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

My self-built 1.9.1-based SeaMonkey builds do restore correctly on both 11.1 with KDE 4.2 and Factory with KDE 4.3 (all 32bit installs, if that makes any difference). The failure you are seeing seems to at least not be general, the search needs to go into more specific differences :) -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
