I never assigned this to GNome ... The current state is: 1) It still shows up and makes life difficult 2) It DOESN't EXISTS. if you switch WEP encryption to WPA/WPA2 -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Hi, Per Matt Chen, who already left the company, he worked on before, his conclusion is that this is Intel firmware issue, he did report to upstream but never got response. The old firmware of iwl4965 does not work OK. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Now I have changed my home encryption to WPA2, but I can't define rules for any place that I am visiting. Also, why equivalent Windows laptops with the same chipset work? I would check my laptop with Knopix during my next visit to some place with WEP access point and, if it works, it may show the root of the problem -- system/driver or firmware. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
