Also, can you try the package in http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/vuntz:/factory-playground/op... to see if it works? Ah, bad me, I was assuming you were changing the timezone but you were talking about setting the time in the right-click menu item, I guess. Apologies for misunderstanding, if this is the case. Reading again the description, I'm confused: (In reply to comment #0 from Christian Jäger)
When a user sets system time (via the new PolicyKit), this adjustment is at first successful, but not persistens: After a reboot/logout, the per-user time will be reset to system-time.
What is per-user time and what is system-time? Is the time "reset" on logout (you can check in a console), login, or just reboot? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

I meant that if a user corrects the time this way from UTC to someting corresponding his actual local time, it will be back to UTC once he logs out and logs in again., -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
