I had a patch for that problem for kasumi 2.0.1 which I submitted upstream, unfortunately it seems to have been lost, it is not included. I adapted my patch a little bit for kasumi 2.2, but even this didn't help, kasumi still crashes on 64bit platforms when trying to add words (of course it crashes without my patch as well). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

There is a problem though:
The bug that kasumi dumps core on x86_64 systems when trying to add new words to the dictionary is back again.
I had a patch for that problem for kasumi 2.0.1 which I submitted upstream, unfortunately it seems to have been lost, it is not included.

Hmm... I tried to build the package with "64bit.patch" enabled, and word addition works well for me on x86_64. Anyway, I'll try to contact the kasumi author about this x86_64 problem. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=253788 mfabian@novell.com changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|ASSIGNED |RESOLVED Resolution| |FIXED ------- Comment #7 from mfabian@novell.com 2007-03-14 05:58 MST ------- Satoshi Niimi> I tried to build the package with "64bit.patch" Satoshi Niimi> enabled, and word addition works well for me on x86_64. You are right, with the patch enabled it works fine. Apparently I was very confused when testing yesterday, I thought I was testing both with the patch enabled and with the patch not enabled but actually I always had the patch disabled. I have a bit of a headache because I caught a cold, maybe that makes me a bit stupid at the moment. Anyway, the patch seems to be still necessary because without it word addition doesn't work on x86_64. I'm closing this bug as FIXED now. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
