Installed an old version of org.gnome.TwentyFortyEight manually 2. Started gnome-software and checked for updates 3. The last stable version of org.gnome.TwentyFortyEight popped up in the Updates tab 4. I clicked on "update" and it worked (after been asked for authentication) Can you update to current TW and check whether you're still experimenting the issue?
