STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. at the PC, click the "connect" button, this fails. 2. at the smartphone type on the name of the PC, this succeeds. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION KDE Plasma Version: 5.25.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.98 Qt Version: 5.15.5 KDE Gears 22.08.1 Bluez 5.65 The smartphone is a Bluetooth 4.0 one. I did the same experiment with another Bluetooth 4.0 smartphone. Same result. In the past, this was working. I was using a Bluetooth 4.0 USB dongle. Today I use a Bluetooth 5.2 PCI card EDUP LOVE ep-9651GS (intel AX210). kde team syas this not a kde problem. In the past, this was working. I was using a Bluetooth 4.0 USB dongle. Today I use a Bluetooth 5.2 PCI card EDUP LOVE ep-9651GS (intel AX210).

I must experiment to found where the problem is. Normaly when pairing a device then the device is automatically in the state "trust". When pairing with the plasma widget I checked this is the case. At the smartphone, I deleted all about the pc. At the PC, I deleted all about the smartphone Using plasma widget, I pair the smartphone. In the plasma widget, I check the smartphone is in the state "trust". At the smartphone, I check the list of the available protocols. There is only HSP. The smartphone is connected with HSP. At the PC, I disconnect the smartphone, then reconnect the smartphone. At the smartphone, I check the list of the available protocols. There are HSP and A2DP. The smartphone is connected for HSP and A2DP. At the smartphone, I disconnect then reconnect the PC. There is only HSP. The smartphone is connected with HSP !
