Do you have an example webpage where it can be seen easily (live)? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Actually any image that has lines that are not vertical or horizontal only, has that problem. The rendering is problem only in web pages. If I go to see image directly from file server everything is fine, so I suspected that something is trying to resize image just a few pixels which was always a problem, and played a bit with that by removing width tag from wiki source text, but I couldn't remove saw-like rendering. I cleaned cache of profile that has problem, using preferences, and reloaded page with Shift-Reload few times, but there is no change. With the same Firefox I have another profile that carries settings from old installation, and it showed the problem when I reported bug, but I can't see any problems right now. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

The difference between version downloaded from Mozilla web site and installed from repositories comes from subdirectory (profile) that is used. I have 2 profiles, new created with this 64 bit installation, and old picked up from old 32 bit installation, both openSUSE 11.0. The Moz web site version selected to use old profile. I can see that in compatibility.ini. The confusion with old profile being bad than good is because when bad version is started first rendering is bad in both windows. The same is valid if good version is started first, than both have good rendering. I'll continue to look for differences, but help will be very welcome. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

It was working, just images were edgy. Delete it and let Firefox create new one solved the problem. While I know now that default of Ctrl-Plus (+ on numeric pad) is to enlarge whole page, while I expected only larger fonts, as that is what is written in View menu. There is no indication that page is changed permanently, and web page will be not presented in default status after program is restarted. I would call that usability issue, as anyone that will use Ctrl-Plus to change font sizes will hit the same problem. The workaround is to press Ctrl-0. Permanent fix would be that program does what is written View menu, and turn on some signal that page rendering is permanently altered, for instance draw some icon with tooltip that explains meaning. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
