[Bug 899713] New: offlineimap garbles messages synced from Maildir to GroupWise IMAP
http://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=899713 Bug ID: 899713 Summary: offlineimap garbles messages synced from Maildir to GroupWise IMAP Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Factory Version: 201409* Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other Assignee: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: bpoirier@suse.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- For messages that are synced from a local Maildir to a remote GroupWise IMAP server, offlineimap adds a X-OfflineIMAP header and a blank line at the start of the message. This breaks the message as the rest of the headers are then considered to be part of the content. I think that this problem is not specific to GroupWise but would happen on other servers that do not support the uidplus extension. Here is an example of what a header looks like after synchronization: " X-OfflineIMAP: 1417965986-5747530569 Date: Thu, 2 Oct 2014 12:50:59 -0700 From: Benjamin Poirier <bpoirier@suse.de> To: [...] " I verified that this problem is fixed by the following upstream commit e8db121 Fix improper header separator for X-OfflineIMAP header -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

There is very high probability that this bug is no-longer relevant at all. As a result we are closing this bug. If you can reproduce this bug against a current Tumbleweed installation of openSUSE, or you can still observe it under openSUSE Leap 15.0, please feel free to reopen this bug. Thank you for reporting this bug and we are sorry it was not resolved under the old product.
