Sorry, don't get this wrong: I will close this bug as invalid, as there is no plugin for x86_64 available from SUN. It's only possible with the i586 version -- we can't change the fact that SUN does not distribute a plugin for x86_64. Trust me: I would really like to see that as well. BUT couldn't you make it so that selecting the _plugin_ for installation also selects the _i586_ versions of the other java packages on x86_64?
