[Bug 306385] New: resize the root volume
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=306385 Summary: resize the root volume Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: i386 OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: olh@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- I had to repartition a 40Gb drive to make room for video data, and installed 10.2. whole disk, lvm. yast used only 20gb for the root volume, there is no home partition. There is apparently no way to resize the root volume to use also the remaining part of the hard disk. Also adding a second drive and make it part of the root volume is appearently not possible (without reading man pages and using the rescue system). I tried to use the yast rescue system. But using the partitioner there is appearently not the way to go. So, how is one supposed to do it? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
