We have a HTTPS repository to distribute Estonian ID-card software for opensuse, but zypper isn't able to handle HTTPS repository. As a workaround, we advise users to set enviroment varibale ZYPP_ARIA2C=0 before running zypper refresh etc. If I understand correctly, zypper isn't setting correct flags for aria2c.
