[Bug 337545] New: Kiwi: Ignoring brokenmodules cmdline argument
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=337545 Summary: Kiwi: Ignoring brokenmodules cmdline argument Product: openSUSE.org Version: unspecified Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: System Imaging AssignedTo: ms@novell.com ReportedBy: Peter.Stark@fujitsu-siemens.com QAContact: adrian@novell.com Found By: --- Kiwi is using hwinfo to identify which kernel modules should be loaded. However, the "brokenmodules=moduleA,moduleB,..." cmdline-parameter is not evaluated. It may happen that the kernel module does not work for the hardware found. As a result the system may get stuck. It would be usefull to check if the module is blacklisted by the brokenmodules parameter and will not be loaded. regards, Peter -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
