"Show accessed mirror(s)" Without knowing the mirror affected, it is hard to fix it of course. In addition, https://features.opensuse.org/302923 needs to be implemented in order to deal with such problems without bothering the user. In particular http://en.opensuse.org/Libzypp/Failover seems to be pursued for 11.2. Mike, you can test the prototype of http://en.opensuse.org/Libzypp/Failover with 11.1 already, and provide feedback (best via the zypp-devel mailing list, or on opensuse-factory). Does the specific problem that you experienced persist? Does it make sense to dig into this now? I have not heard any bad reports from the US during the last weeks. I can try to find your IP address in the old logs if it buys us anything, but I guess it won't, or what do you think?
