When I try to install the patched version from the link above, rpm complains that it is older than the one installed. Force-installing it solved the problem. The fix was not checked into factory (and it should have been) and hence G:S. However Boyd is about to update the version in factory (which will include this fix) so this should be fixed in a couple of days.
