[Bug 1049593] New: systemd-logind: Failed to apply ACLs: Invalid argument
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1049593 Bug ID: 1049593 Summary: systemd-logind: Failed to apply ACLs: Invalid argument Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 42.2 Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem Assignee: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: matwey.kornilov@gmail.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Hello, I am running openSUSE Leap 42.2 on HP ProOne400 G1. And I have the following issue with graphical login sessions: systemd-logind reports the following in journal: июл 20 10:32:27 photon systemd-logind[27071]: New session 179 of user matwey. июл 20 10:32:27 photon systemd-logind[27071]: Failed to apply ACLs: Invalid argument ACLs are not set on uaccess devices. The user has no access to /dev/dri, /dev/sr0 (dvd-rom), etc. systemd version is systemd-228-25.6.1.x86_64 I've also reported upstream: https://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/systemd-devel/2017-July/039336.html Debugging systemd-logind, I found that the issue is triggered by parport_pc device node in function sd_device_new_from_subsystem_sysname() (sd-device.c:301). `driver' appears to be NULL there. I think that upstream commit 21d6220fe0bf ("sd-device: new_from_subsystem_sysnam - support a real subsystem called 'drivers'") should help here. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

It is sad. I've spent three days to debug this.
Sorry about that. In the meantime I'm reassigning this bug to Klaus in order to backport the avrdude fix in SLE. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
