Grass has been updated 4 days in application:geo and Factory. gdal was also updated a week ago Be sure to use the last availaible binary for you distribution zypper clean zypper ref -f zypper dup (for TW) zypper up (for Leap) also if zypper se -si | grep "(System Packages)" return some results it's time to cleanup (mostly manually) any old lib version or deprecated binary. Would you mind to provide a step by step how-to reproduce the result you've seen ? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

My Leap 15.2 isup to date, with KDE, as it's been few years I've got this install, I've made a test on a fresh Gnome Leap 15.2 installed. Same issue.
Would you mind to provide a step by step how-to reproduce the result you've seen ? Sure, launch grass In GUI, go to Parameters > Extensions list > Install extensions (g.extension) This launch new windows where you can choose any, for example, go to imagery categories and try to install i.cutlines
And got error message :
WARNING: Extension

Additional information GRASS is not working anymore with Raster data but only vector. Impossible to import or read image Tif file into GRASS database.
Would you mind to check if it is a "new" gdal trouble. a version of the packaging has been accepted with deleting internal bundled libs, perhaps a correct external lib call or require is now missing. Perhaps a gdalinfo or something related could be used. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

It's me again, a clue here : https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:ecsos/grass
With that version, I'm able to use GRASS without any error. Hope you can understand why ?
In this project, there is a special project config: # for grass Prefer: proj-devel Substitute: libproj-devel proj-devel This may explain. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
