I am the maintainer for Realtek devices. The RT2870 is made by RaLink. The primary maintainer for RT2X00 is Stanislaw Gruszka <sgruszka@redhat.com>.
Oops, sorry for misleading, the name is too confusing :) Feel free to reassign back if it's above your hands.
Unfortunately, bugzilla will not allow me to add him to the Cc list for this bug. I will write him separately.
No problem. From Comment #2, the problem is starting to look more like something failed in the zypper dup operation with the August 18th snapshot, and not with this particular wireless driver. My only TW instances are virtual machines. When I tried to use rt2870 device that uses rt2800usb, it failed on a TW Gnome instance, but worked using TW with a KDE desktop. Both are using NetworkManager. My suspicion is that this is a problem with Gnome updates with "zypper dup". Both KDE and Gnome have been updated to the 0825 snapshot. I am reassigning this bug. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
