Should the suggested mirror turn out not to be functional or practicable, there is no way to get a different/another/a better mirror suggestion, especially as the suggestion script is designed to return the same mirror to the same IP address within some timeframe I believe, to ensure mirror consistency. This forces the user to manually track down and enter a mirror for YOU, which isn't (yet) that easy.
