Some days ago, it panic'd and mounted itself read-only. After reboot, I was unable to get into the system. A rescue install on different disks later, and I found out I could not repair it, mount it, or anything *unless* I did a *read-only*, recovery mount. Then I could get at files and such. "-o recovery" alone did not do it. I tried kernels up through 3.8.7 (trying 3.8.8 today).
