Using this version with krdc of KDE:Release:410 results in crashes: krdc(9407)/kdeui (kdelibs): Attempt to use QAction "remote_desktop_dockwidget" with KXMLGUIFactory! KCrash: Application 'krdc' crashing... KCrash: Attempting to start /usr/lib64/kde4/libexec/drkonqi from kdeinit sock_file=/home/hp/.kde/socket-xrated/kdeinit4__0 krdc: Fatal IO error: client killed while reverting to LibVNCServer 14.1.4 as being released, krdc works as expected. Please note, that krdc since version 4.10 exercises the TLC support for the first time. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. No, it is the same issue, but it is spelled out correctly here.
The question is, why did you enable the TLS support in this package? Where there any security implications releated to that change?
Otherwise, I would strongly suggest to revert this change. Given the crash and some googling, there's a high chance, that this version doesn't handle the TLS enabling well to express it gently (*apart* from deliberately changing the ABI).
That would cause a regression in remmina, see bug #775609, so it is not that straightforward.
