It is worth adding that configurations moved to /usr/share/containers/ in a recent update [1]. Danish, are there any reasons we don't have %config(noreplace) for storage.conf and containers.conf? Danish, do we have a test case for such scenarios? Ensuring that libcontainers-common and podman are always compatible.
