[Bug 352221] New: Patch "Opera 9.25 security release" fails
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=352221 Summary: Patch "Opera 9.25 security release" fails Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: X11 Applications AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: bugreports@tittel.net QAContact: sndirsch@novell.com Found By: --- The openSUSE updater informs me about a new security update for Opera, however, when I try to install it, it fails with this: "Can't provide file ./rpm/i586/opera-9.24_9.25-0.1_1.1.i586.delta.rpm from repository openSUSE-10.3-Updates Package opera-9.25-1.1 fails integrity check. Do you want to retry? ABORT reqest: User requested to abort" Interestingly the question "Do you want to retry?" is pretty pointless, because I don't have the option to click anything but "OK" in that window. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Maybe it really was something with my system? However, I wonder how such a thing can happen, because I am really quite conservative about package management and had always only the official openSUSE Opera package installed. Unfortunately I can't provide more specifics, because I solved my problem by updating to the new Opera version from the update repository without using the patch. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
