[Bug 1202459] New: playback of (drm) video's stopped working
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1202459 Bug ID: 1202459 Summary: playback of (drm) video's stopped working Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: x86-64 OS: openSUSE Tumbleweed Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Other Assignee: screening-team-bugs@suse.de Reporter: dutchkind@txoriaskea.org QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- After upgrading Tumbleweed to the latest version this weekend after having been away for two weeks broke video playback in any web browser almost completely. It seems to be the drm protected video's but I am not sure. No video on the Dutch news channel (NOS) nor BBC nor Twitter can be played, a warning is shown that this system seems unsupported. Haven't found anything in the logs, all I know is it doesn't work anymore. Not in Firefox, not in Chromium and not in Opera does it work. When I boot into my shadow Tumbleweed that hasn't received the latest updates all works as expected. Operating System: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20220814 KDE Plasma Version: 5.25.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.96.0 Qt Version: 5.15.5 Kernel Version: 5.19.1-1-default (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 Processors: 8 Intel Core i7-8550U CPU @ 1.80GHz Memory: 15.5 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel UHD Graphics 620 Manufacturer: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. Changed those to Packman's repo and problem was solved. Don't know why this suddenly happened but it is solved now, sorry for the trouble. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
