So you need to have a lot of memory, so that kiwi will clicfs -m > 350. As these 5% are way too much for our use (_especially_ when run in memory), it should be reduced. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

'kiwi_delete="... libblkid1" is not local modification, we are using kiwi from Appliance repo to build the image on the build service so this is part of the boot desc from there. 2. here is boot.kiwi without /dev/sdb2 for cow: http://pastebin.com/f7efaab45 It does not make sense to have 5% reserve with /dev/loop0 root even if there is cow partition. For now I have put tune2fs -m 0 /dev/loop0 || true in image boot.local but this should be handled by kiwi's initrd. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

It does not make sense to have 5% reserve with /dev/loop0 root even if there is cow partition.
I'm not sure about this. Coolo can you advise. Can I call tune2fs -m 0 $roDir/fsdata.ext3 in any case with and without cow file ? Thanks -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

If you wanted to real usage, it may help. But the ext3 file system has no idea how much space is reserved in the cow. I kind of disagree with "it does not make sense", but then again it doesn't always make sense. The larger the file system is, the less sense make 5% - in doubt I would always call -m 0 -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
