It works much better now than before since there is an auto-retry on
connection timeouts. However the 'unrecognized error' messages have not gone.
Why not simply let zypper automatically restart the dld on unrecognized errors
as well so that you will not have to do that by hand.
For simple connection timeouts I would welcome a continue-download
functionality like provided by wget -c because it is often like this with
unreliable servers that the download functions with goot speed for up to 27% or
32% of the full download. However then the bitrate suddenly drops to 0% and
remains there so that a new connection needs to be initiated. If this happens
multiple times in sequence the download will never be completed.

Error code: Unrecognized error

Abort, retry, ignore? [A/r/i]:
Problem occured during or after installation or removal of packages:
Installation aborted by user
Please see the above error message for a hint.
--> I am not sure why it has interrupted the download here since I have not
selected Abort. Simply hitting enter because there seems to be no reaction from
zypper should simply pose the [A/r/i] - question again; it must not interrupt
the update.
