The error for crash kdenlive is in frei0r-plugins, not in mlt.
Wrong. The libmlt shipped in Leap 42.1 is built against Qt4 too and crashes kdenlive. Or do you think I submitted a libmlt update just for fun? Both packages do build against Qt5 on Leap too meanwhile in multimedia:libs though, and libmlt on Packman is built against Qt5 as well (it's just a link to the one from multimedia:libs)
And why not change all packages so it can run with kdenlive.
What do you mean with "all packages"? I already submitted "fixes" for libmlt and frei0r-plugins so that they can run with kdenlive 15.08 on Leap too (this has been fixed for Tumbleweed months ago).
Also libavfomat from packman is older.
No it isn't. It's actually the other way round: Leap 42.1 has version 2.8, while Packman has 2.8.1. How's that "older"? And you need libavformat/libavcodec from Packman anyway for full codec support. And if ffmpeg on Packman is newer than the one from Leap (it is being kept up-to-date), then the libmlt from Leap might break at any time. Only libmlt from Packman is "guaranteed" to work with libavcodec from Packman.
mlt is only needed from kdenlive. No other packages.
That's true. Doesn't really matter here though IMHO.
Mlt can not use, so i think mlt can delete?
What does that mean? Sorry, I don't really understand that sentence. mlt/kdenlive should work even without libavformat support. Arguably it's not that useful though, because you cannot load video clips. Anyway, that's something to decide for the maintainers of libmlt I think. Only they can change the prjconf anyway (although one could also submit a modified specfile). libmlt is not a "KDE Application" though and it is not maintained by the KDE team, but rather in multimedia:libs. I'm not sure to whom this should be assigned best, so back to screening... -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
