[Bug 978449] New: zypper creates /var/cache/zypper/ directory and forgets to cleanup (zypper in ./foo.rpm)
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=978449 Bug ID: 978449 Summary: zypper creates /var/cache/zypper/ directory and forgets to cleanup (zypper in ./foo.rpm) Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: Other OS: openSUSE 13.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: libzypp Assignee: zypp-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: suse-beta@cboltz.de QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: Beta-Customer Blocker: --- When installing a manually downloaded RPM using zypper in ./foo.rpm zypper does - create the directory /var/cache/zypper/RPMS/ - copy foo.rpm to /var/cache/zypper/RPMS/ - add a temporary plaindir repo for /var/cache/zypper/RPMS/ - install the package - remove the temporary repo Unfortunately it does NOT delete foo.rpm from /var/cache/zypper/RPMS/ afterwards, and (obviously) also doesn't delete the directory. Please tell zypper to cleanup after itsself ;-) You might also want to use a place in an existing directory - maybe somewhere in /var/cache/zypp/ ? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
