[Bug 286489] New: When using XGL, compiz is not used
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=286489 Summary: When using XGL, compiz is not used Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Alpha 5 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Xgl AssignedTo: dreveman@novell.com ReportedBy: romain.pelissier@gmail.com QAContact: bperry@novell.com Found By: --- On previous version of Opensuse like the 10.2, we have the ability to use compiz and xgl as soon as we modify the sysconfig file using the syscondif editor. Then we just have to select xgl then use compiz as the default window manager. Now, even if compiz is installed as yast report, I can only select xgl but there is no mention to compiz anywhere (we just have kde for what I remind). So the next restart of the system, xgl seems to be activated successfully but there are no more menu around the windows (no buttons to close, make smaller or expand the window). The only option is to remove xgl to have the system working with the button arounf the windows. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
