[Bug 534420] New: thinkpad wireless toggle changed behaviour
http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=534420 Summary: thinkpad wireless toggle changed behaviour Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Milestone 6 Platform: i686 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel AssignedTo: kernel-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: remur@gmx.net QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; de; rv:1.9.1.2) Gecko/20090730 SUSE/3.5.2-2.1 Firefox/3.5.2 In 11.1 pressing fn+f5 only toggled bluetooth on/off and wireless was always on when you activated the wireless slider (on the front of the notebook) That was neat because the state wasn't saved over reboots ( -> https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=448624 ) and I still like that behaviour, so was the change intentional? Couldn't the button switch through the 4 possible states? (none, WLAN, bluetooth, WLAN+Bluetooth) This would get fun with umts card though =/ Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Compare fn+f5 on 11.1 to 11.2 behaviour -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
