LANG=ja strace -o strace.txt uum Can't get pty.
I checked strace.txt . The uum looks for /dev/pty??, but /dev/pty?? do not exist . Then uum can not start . I attached strace.txt . Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. sudo zypper install fwnn 2. sudo /usr/bin/service fwnn start 3. LANG=ja strace -o strace.txt uum Actual Results: The uum can not start . Expected Results: The uum should start . I think that there are two solutions . 1. The kernel supports BSD pseudoterminal . 2. The uum supports UNIX 98 pseudoterminal . rpm -qa | egrep fwnn fwnn-1.1.1a022-29.1.4.x86_64 fwnncom-1.1.1a022-29.1.4.x86_64
and I can use uum.
mlterm -E EUC-JP In mlterm, uum -Uu cat <Ctrl>+\ NIHONGO <Ctrl>-W <Enter>
