When you change the regulatory domain and try to give the card the higher than default transmit power,nothing changes. transmit power remain as before. If you even give the card ,some super abnormal transmit power like 50db (100W) it even doesn't show up an error like and nothing change's too : "Error for wireless request "Set Tx Power" (8B26) : SET failed on device wlan1 ; Invalid argument." Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.try to chnage the regulatory domain to a good high capable domain, something like BZ or BO. "iw reg set BO" 2.try to change the transmit power for the card. iwconfig wlanX txpower 27 Actual Results: no errors,no changes. still at the same transmit power as before at 20 db(100mW). Tp-link wn722n is high gain wireless usb adapter that use ar9271 chipset. When you change the regulatory domain and try to give the card the higher than default transmit power,nothing changes. transmit power remain as before.

Such as : * 5200 MHz [40] (17.0 dBm) (passive scanning, no IBSS) The channel 40, 5200 MHz, the max power is 17, you would not have a chance to change it over 17 dBm.
