You can ignore that. This means you haven't made any changes to nsswitch.conf and thus there is nothing to monitor.

In my case this message clutters my journal as it's printed almost every minute. Wouldn't be better to print it only once, for example when the nscd is started? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
