Moreover the package is listed on OBS as part of the "standard" repository (OSS), but not provided: http://software.opensuse.org/search?p=1&baseproject=ALL&q=eclipse Given the past history of the eclipse package in openSUSE, which had various problems, and was released in 10.3 and 11.0 in a not working status and then fixed, it would be the case to consider to drop it completely. Installation is straightforward from the original website, and it provides full functionalities without any trouble.
