[Bug 802141] New: Krunner crashes after suspend
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=802141 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=802141#c0 Summary: Krunner crashes after suspend Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Factory Version: 12.3 Beta 1 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: cymerio@gmail.com QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created an attachment (id=523380) --> (http://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=523380) Backtrace User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:18.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/18.0 Krunner crashed after the laptop was waked up from suspend to RAM. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1. Enter KDE and suspend the system to RAM (e.g. closing the lid) 2. Wake up the laptop (e.g. open the lid, press the power button) 3. Do ALT+F2 and write something Actual Results: The application crashes. Expected Results: App should not crash. The laptop is a Toshiba Portégé M800-10N. Many other apps crash after suspend. For example "Synaptiks" crashes right after waking up without user interaction. After waking up 2 notifications appear telling that battery is low and it's about to suspend to RAM, and another telling AC adapter is connected so suspension is cancelled. This is wrong because the adapter was always connected through the entire process, and the battery was full. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
