The shown partitions of partitioner are not correct (begin and end). So it was not possible to install openSuSE 12.1. The partitions still existing from the current system (openSuSE 11.3). I dit not change the positions, size or filesysten. If I use the install-DVD of openSuSE 11.4 I dont get an error message and the partitioner show the partitions absolutely correct. There is a known (and already fixed) bug in nilfs2 probing code, which makes parted crash on such partition. As the partition is useless anyway, you should be able to boot e.g. 11.4 in rescue mode and remove the partition. Afterward, installation of 12.1 should work fine. I'm closing the bug as there is nothing more we can do with regard to 12.1 installation media. Please feel free to reopen if it does not help or if you need further assistance.
