Feel free to write an article in the wiki. Using the "imaging" tool dd, that is shipped with openSUSE, to create partion images for backup purposes is a one-liner: Creating compressed image file: dd if=/dev/hda | gzip > /<mount point>/hda_image.gz Restoring compressed image file: gzip -dc /<mount point>/hda_image.gz | dd of=/dev/hda toms, this is something you may want to add to the troubleshooting chapter. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
