[Bug 340683] New: There is no "Unix network" item in Nautilus anymore
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=340683#c340445 Summary: There is no "Unix network" item in Nautilus anymore Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: All OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Documentation AssignedTo: ke@novell.com ReportedBy: federico@novell.com QAContact: ke@novell.com Found By: Other This comes originally from bug #340445. http://www.novell.com/documentation/opensuse103/opensuse103_gnome_user/data/... says, "To access NFS shares, double-click the UNIX Network icon." However, there hasn't been a "Unix Network" icon for many years now. This was an old feature of Nautilus that got removed because it was far from robust, and there was no interest in making it stable. The documentation should not mention a "Unix Network" icon in Nautilus, since it doesn't exist :) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
