I ctl/alt/F2ed to a root console and tried pinging and resolving download.opensuse.org and other urls successfully so from that I conclude the network was up. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Start installation dvd 2.Select update installed system 3.enable extra repositories Actual Results: Non of the added repositories can be accessed Expected Results: Repositories refresh successfully and update continues with them included. I have tried dhcp and fixed ip configurations with no success. Logs from comment #3 only show that the Contrib repository was broken/not useful in time you were doing the upgrade, nothing else. Can you attach logs from your current system after upgrade? I only used Contrib repo the second time to avoid having to skip every failure. (aria2 version 1.5.2) The above content* and directory.yast files actually don't exist. But the /repodata/repomd.xml do. While curl is able to download them, aria2c is not. AbstractCommand just said that downloading URI failed. If you provide me aria2's log, we can at least know what error occurred. It worked smoothly without a hitch.
