don't use the desktop kernel but the default kernel for your nameserver. There is a bug somewhere but I'm not sure yet what it is.
ACK! default kernel seems to be better -- named now works. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

ACK! default kernel seems to be better -- named now works.
BUT: local name server usage still is broken (see Bug #552555). just for your records: my name"server" is my notebook which e.g. is a proxy/caching named for my openmoko. it would be ncie to be able to use the desktop kernel at some point (1000 HZ, no PREEMPT_NONE, ...) -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
