To reproduce, just start FreeCAD and try to either start a new drawing or click on one of the examples shown. The result in either case is an immediate Segfault. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

I said *I* will not support FreeCAD on 15.4.
It does build, and the test suite runs successfully. Everything else has to many outside dependencies. Graphics drivers, other installed packages, whatever.
You are free to debug it and then send an SR with eventual fixes. Stop demanding, start contributing.
Why do you even care to answer if you downright refuse to even treat bug reports as such? "Use a different distribution" is NOT a valid answer. When I take my car to my mechanic and describe a mechanical failure, he doesn't tell me to just buy a Peugeot like one he has because his make and model work. He just does his job and tries to fix the problem. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Your loud complaints and attacks will achieve exactly nothing. I answered to make it clear you have to debug it yourself. If you can't, bad luck for you. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Looks like I got the wrong address and took my car to the hairdresser. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

I don't think Stefan is saying this isn't a valid bug report, what Stefan is saying is currently the openSUSE project doesn't have anyone maintaining this package for Leap and as such there is no one willing to look at and or address this issue. Support for all packages in openSUSE distros are done as best effort by volunteers if no one volunteers then bugs don't get fixed. One of the key premises of the openSUSE project is we don't tell our contributors what they have to work on as such we have no rule stating that if someone wishes to maintain a packages for tumbleweed they are also responsible for Leap (or the other way). For this bug to be fixed in Leap you will need to find someone who cares about this package in Leap enough to want to maintain it or develop the skills so that you can do it yourself. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
