Hm, I think you need to use plugin either for ShadowAccount or for PasswordPolicy (see Plugins part of user dialog). For LDAP users without any of these, there's no disabling implemented.
Ralf, is this correct approach or does it need any fixing?
I think a warning would be nice when trying to disable a user that has neither of the plugins configured.
Well, yes. Or maybe the "Disable user login" option could be grayed/hidden.
Appart from fiddling around with the userPassword Value for shadow users does YaST also set shadowExpire?
