So the issue here is that those are the tango colors and, well, we can't change tango. I've played a bit with it, and this is readable to me. I'm actually unsure how you get blue on green -- I'd actually argue that this is hardly readable in most cases anyway. I don't think it's worth diverging from upstream on this.
