X11 does work. With the boot options 'radeon.cik_support=0 amdgpu.cik_support=1', Wayland does work as expected after login at SDDM. Basically, I am ok with keeping 'radeon.cik_support=0 amdgpu.cik_support=1' activated; however, this might not be a satisfying approach for other users. I am a bit unhappy about this back and forth situation - every update of Mesa is a gamble whether the system will continue to work or not.
