The hwinfo file you sent through though, suggests you may have a hardware fault as I can see one part where the link is continually coming up and then going down again immediately. There may be a problem with your network port, or perhaps with the network cable or even with whatever router or switch you are connected to. Troubleshooting: You should first test with a replacement network cable. If that makes no difference, borrow a router or use a spare one to test that you are able to either obtain an IP address automatically or set a static IP. If neither of these work, the problem is with the network card on your motherboard. I gave you a set of steps asking you to try them for troubleshooting and you haven't. Additionally, you haven't tested against 12.3M1 to see if the bug persists, since there's nothing we can do about the 12.2 installer now. During the GUI install, when asked to selecting the addon installations, I select static addressing, insert the local address, mask, gateway and router addresses.
